On Friday evening, November 22, 2019, Corvus (the contemporary ensemble of the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival) will present the world premieres of nine new pieces, written by the participants of the 2019 Kayaking Adventure. This concert will take place in the stunning rotunda of Federal Hall National Memorial in Manhattan.

The nine composers spent an adventurous week sea kayaking in Alaska’s stunning Prince William Sound, and their new compositions were all inspired by that immersive experience.

It will be a unique evening that blends wilderness with contemporary music. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. We will be making seat reservations available through Eventbrite, so check back here soon for more information.
